Siena

Una visita nella splendida Siena, città  situata nel cuore della Toscana e circondata da colline, è una delle città medievali più belle d' Italia. Fulcro della città è la famosa Piazza del Campo, dalla particolare forma a conchiglia, nella quale si tiene il celebre Palio, uno degli appuntamenti più importanti per tutti i senesi. Il Palio di Siena è un' appassionata corsa di cavalli che si svolge ogni anno, in Luglio ed Agosto e le sue origini sembrano risalire addiruttura al Seicento.

Ho avuto la fortuna di poter visitare il Palazzo Pubblico e vedere la splendida Torre del Mangia e successivamente l'interno del Duomo di Siena. Quanta maestosa ricchezza nelle arti possiede l'Italia e non solo, quanta bela gente si trova ancora in giro nonostante la crisi ed il malumore serpeggiante in questo momento storico. 

Ho avuto l'occasione di rilassarmi nelle terre di Siena e di incontrare una cara blogger senese: Ada!!

Ho mangiato dell'ottimo cibo e preso tanto ottimismo e buon umore a contatto con i toscani....davvero bella gente.

A visit to the beautiful Siena, a city situated in the heart of Tuscany, surrounded by hills, is one of the most beautiful medieval cities of Italy '. The heart of the city is the famous Piazza del Campo, the shell-shaped, which takes place the famous Palio, one of the most important for all the people of Siena. The Palio di Siena is a 'passionate horse race that takes place every year in July and August and its origins seem to date back to the seventeenth century.

I was lucky enough to visit the Public Palace and see the beautiful Torre del Mangia and then the interior of the Cathedral of Siena. How majestic richness in the arts has Italy and beyond, how much bela people is still around, despite the crisis and the winding discontent at this historic moment. 

I had the opportunity to relax in the lands of Siena and the Sienese meet a dear blogger: Ada !! 

I eated great food and got a lot of optimism and good humor in contact with the Tuscans .... really nice people.
